Who is Stéphane Pouyes?

First as a student, then as an articling student, Stéphane began his legal career with a leading criminal law firm in the metropolitan area. There, he was able to learn all the rudiments of the profession, developing his skills and perfecting his legal reflexes. In particular, he was able to work on very large and high-profile cases.

After a brief passage with the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP) in Gatineau, Stéphane resumed his career by joining forces with Me Velandia to defend the fundamental rights and legitimate interests of their clients. Aware of the stigma attached to a criminal charge, Stéphane is a proud defender of the rule of law. His dynamic, humanistic approach helps his clients navigate the arduous legal system with confidence.

A proud competitor, skilled negotiator and fierce litigator, he represents his clients before the Quebec courts in a variety of criminal offences. He holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal. Since then, his career has taken off in leaps and bounds.
